Business and culture
I’ve done quite a bit of writing about business and culture. I worked seven years as Manager of Editorial Services for Eaton Consulting Group (now Aperian Global), where I researched and wrote more than 70 country-specific manuals that were used in corporate trainings with such international clients as Dell, Sony, Bechtel, L.L. Bean and AT&T. I’ve also written recent content for the online Globesmart training tool.
Additionally, I co-authored a chapter of a book for human resource professionals. The chapter is called “Orientation for a Global Population” and it looks at cross-cultural issues to consider when dealing with a diverse workforce. It can be found in the book Creative New Employee Orientation Programs.
